In the Raleigh–Durham area (Wake, Durham, Johnston), you can install your shed solar kit yourself or hire a local handyman.

**DIY.** Every kit includes step-by-step guides. If you’re comfortable with basic tools and following instructions, you can do it in a day. Low-voltage DC (under 50V) often doesn’t require an electrician in North Carolina for this type of install—but always confirm local rules.

**Pro install.** A handyman can mount panels, run wiring, and set up the battery and inverter in one afternoon. They can also handle permits and inspections if you want everything on the books.
