HOA-friendly solar for your shed
HOA compliance matters when you’re in a neighborhood. Our shed solar kits are designed to be removable, low-profile, and free of permanent structural changes—so you can power your shed without running afoul of rules or drawing fines.
Removable, low-profile design
Flexible solar panels mount with simple hardware and can be taken down if needed. There are no permanent roof penetrations that require approval as “structures.” The panels sit flat to the roof and use black bolts and trim that blend in. Many HOAs care most about visibility and permanence; our approach keeps both in check.
No permanent fixtures
We avoid the kind of rigid, ground-mounted or heavily framed arrays that often trigger HOA review. Everything is shed-based: panels on the shed roof, battery and electronics inside or alongside the shed. That keeps the installation clearly accessory to an existing outbuilding rather than a new “solar installation” in the eyes of many covenants.
Minimize fines and notices
By staying removable and low-profile, you reduce the chance of violation letters or fines. If your HOA has questions, you can describe the setup as temporary or easily reversible. We’re happy to provide a short description you can share with your board if that helps.
